Do you remember your past lives? Do you remember ever having been somewhere else before reincarnating on this planet? Do you remember a life before this lifetime?

This subject of past lives has always intrigued me, because when I started my spiritual journey, I started having dreams. And in those dreams, I could see myself in certain places and in certain lifetimes, experiencing certain things.

It was always something that made me wonder: why am I seeing these things? How is it even possible that I could see things with such clarity, with such depth, and with that feeling of knowing that I was that person, that I had been in those places? I felt it in my bones, and I knew it to be true. But then, at the same time, even with that knowing, because of how I had been brought up and because of my religious beliefs, I just couldn't reconcile these things together. As a Christian person, there was no belief in reincarnation, it was just this one lifetime. But my dreams were telling me something else.

Every time I would have these dreams that would reveal to me things about myself, you know how it is in the awakening process, and because dreaming is really one of my major ways of getting information about the past and retrieving information and wisdom from some really good places out there, these things really came to the fore for me. But I couldn't reconcile them in this lifetime.

So maybe you're one of those people who has had past-life experiences, or who has had dreams or received information that made you aware that you had some past life somewhere. I'd be curious to know: do you remember any of your past lives? Let me know in the comment section.

Anyway, not everyone remembers their past lives, and there are good reasons for that, which I'll explain in a few minutes. But the thing is this: there are some people who remember their past lives, and those memories, from my experience, only come to your awareness when memories of those past lives are pertinent to your current existence. You only get memories from your past lives when they are necessary for you in this particular lifetime.

If they're going to interfere with your existence in this lifetime, chances are that you will not have memories of those lifetimes. Your soul knows why you are here right now, and if those memories from the past are going to be a block or a major hindrance for you in this lifetime and prevent you from evolving the way your soul had agreed to evolve in this lifetime, chances are that you might not recall those past-life experiences.

We truly are here to grow and evolve. And if things from the past come to us at this particular time, it is for us to be able to overcome or evolve or work through that karma and clear that coming experience, good or bad, so that you can evolve into the next thing.

For me, like I said before, I'm a dreamer, so most of my information comes to me through dreams. It's because of these dreams that I really found out about my past-life experiences. And it's really no accident that I love crystals. This information came to me through dreams about my past, and let me tell you, it was so exciting to find out that I really started loving crystals because of a past lifetime. It was so exciting for me.

When I saw myself in dreams working with crystals, for example, one time I had this dream, and it was one of those dreams that are so real, so vivid, so alive, you know those special types of dreams. In the dream, there was a gathering of people, and there was a cave, and supposedly someone was inside the cave. I was watching from the sidelines, like I was watching, observing into the dream to see what was going on. There were drums all around, and the people were gathering, and they were waiting for this person who was supposed to emerge from the cave. The drums were beating, and I could feel and hear the swaying sounds, everyone was in a trance. Then suddenly the person began to emerge from the cave, and guess who came out of the cave? It was me.

Inside the cave there were all these crystals, and I remember these huge tiger's eye crystals in the cave. And the healing that began to happen and occur, and the magic and the mystery of the ceremony, was just so, so exciting. While it was shocking to me to recognize myself in that person, I knew in that instant that I was working with the stones even before this time. That was one of the dreams that confirmed to me that I had another lifetime where I used to work with stones and where I used to heal with stones, that I've always worked with stones, and I bring forth that wisdom into this particular lifetime.

I mentioned before that sometimes we remember our past-life experiences because they are pertinent to this specific lifetime. I am amazed at how much information I get from crystals and stones, and how I am able to easily transmit that information to others, and especially for my own self. Stones saved me when I was going down the tubes. The stones, the memory of the stones, saved me. The information from the stones, the wisdom of the stones, saved my life. I brought that information from who I was in the past into this particular experience, and I am able to share and disseminate it.

That was just one of those dreams. I've also had other dreams that revealed to me where I lived a lifetime with the stone people. We used to live in these caves by the water, by the sea, and people would be inside stones, we basically lived inside stones. We would sit there and wait for the sun to shine every day, because the sun would warm us up. I remember those crystals looking like agate stones. It was just a lifetime where we would live by the water, in stones, in crystals.

So that was just something that reveals to me my past life as a stone person and as a healer. I've also had dreams where my work was primarily that of a healer. So that information about my past life and that memory has really been revealing to me about my core and who I really am, and it has really helped me stand in the truth of who I am. It really rings true on so many levels.

I was not a king. I was not a queen. And even if I was, it's not being revealed to me, because it's not pertinent to my experience in this particular lifetime. This is what I'm trying to say: if it's not helpful for you in this particular lifetime, it doesn't matter whether you're a king or a queen or the queen of Zamunda, whatever. If it's not helpful for you in this particular life and it won't help you evolve further, sometimes these memories do not come to you.

And then, of course, like I said before, one of the reasons why we may not remember our past lives is if the memory of that past-life experience may cause some kind of disturbance in our lives, or it may cause some kind of trauma. If that life was so traumatic, and you were not supposed to remember it or work on those particular things in this lifetime, because we choose the things we are going to work on as we evolve into a new life experience, then there's no point in having that particular memory coming back to you in this lifetime, because it's going to derail you. So you might not remember those kinds of things.

Or if the memory is about something that's going to cause some kind of ego trip, that can really cause you to derail. There are a lot of people out there, there are always kings or queens or this and that, it's crazy. And then there are also other people who do past-life work and whatnot, but the only things they bring forward is usually the fact that someone was some very, very important person out there. No one is ever a slave. People are always kings and queens and warriors and important this or that. There's never anyone who's at the bottom over there. There's always just these high-ranking officials emerging in this particular lifetime. It might be true, I'm not denying that. Who doesn't want to imagine that at some point in their lives they were that important? We do want to imagine those kinds of things about ourselves, because why not?

So sometimes you don't recall your past life because of things that are not pertinent for you in this lifetime, because they'll derail you. Then the other thing is this: even if we had memories of our past lives, the information that comes forth from spirit about those particular kinds of things comes in huge, huge chunks. Our human brains cannot even absorb the amount of information that comes forth about whatever has been happening in the past. We're like little computers, and the information that comes forth from our lives is sometimes too much for us to process.

Because of those kinds of things, we are not equipped to handle all the details about the past and who we were in the past, and because of things like that, we may not be able to recall or remember our past lives. Shoot, we don't even remember what we ate for lunch yesterday. We don't even remember who we saw the other day. We don't even remember people's names. Can you imagine if you had input about a lot of those major things that happened in the past? Would you remember all those things?

And then again, the information that comes from spirit, if you're not supposed to work with that information, to really distill that information, you know, if you get spiritual downloads, that's a lot. It can wipe you out. If you really receive information from spirit, even a little chunk, just to open a little tiny bit of information can wipe you out, because it blows up into a lot of things. So there's also that data transfer thing going on with this. And if it's not necessary for you, then maybe past lives is not something that you need to worry about.

The most important thing is to focus on what you are now, who you are right now. Past lives are never really necessary, other than to give you information if you have to work on that information in this particular lifetime. Besides that, the most important thing is being in the present moment: living right now, being you now, breathing now, developing yourself now, growing yourself now, evolving yourself now, clearing your karmic issues now, letting go of things that don't serve you now, moving on right now. Life is about being in the now.

So tell me, with all that said, do you remember any of your past lives? And does part of your work in this lifetime involve what you did in the past? Let me know in the comment section. Until next time, live in the now. Bye.
