Do you take showers with your healing crystal jewelry, or do you take off your crystal jewelry before you jump in the shower? That's the question for the day.
You know, I've personally been thinking about this subject, and I just thought to myself, you know what? It would be something good to talk about, because I know that showers really, really change the way the energy of our crystals work. And for people who are really working with crystals for therapeutic work or to achieve a specific objective, things like these are very important to know. So I just want to talk about this subject, and please feel free to let me know in the comment section below whether you take showers with your crystals or whether you take them off before you take a shower, and whether you notice whether the energy has changed or not. These little details are critical for those people who really want to harness the full power of the energy tools that we are working with.
It's always so important to know why we're working with crystals and how to really, really consolidate the energy we're working with, so that you can achieve those results that we want. Otherwise, for someone like me, just doing things for the sake of doing things, or just working with crystals for the sake of working with crystals, or without some kind of really deeper understanding of why I'm working with specific tools, just doesn't make sense. And for me, it's just a waste of time. So maybe you're like me.
I personally remove all my crystals, and I don't take showers with my crystals, because intuitively it just doesn't feel right. It doesn't feel right for me to get into the shower with my crystals. The crystals stand in the way of taking a relaxing shower. You know how showers are so relaxing, and when you're taking a shower, it feels so good and therapeutic in its own right? Just having crystals interfering with the flow of the water coming in, and you trying to wash yourself and all, is just such a distraction. So intuitively, I do not take showers with my crystals. That's just the first obvious reason, because I don't need anything interfering with my showers. Showers are special, right? I know you know what I mean. Okay.
The main point that I want to share about why I do not recommend showering with crystals is this: if you are already wearing crystal jewelry that has a specific shape that is meant to achieve something, that is carrying a particular energy that is meant to achieve something, whether that's healing energy or protection energy or whatever, or that has certain angles or a certain vibration or whatever you call it, you have a crystal that has already been consolidated. Its energy is intact. It's radiating in a certain way. It's packing a particular type of punch. And then you introduce it to another element which has nothing to do with that energy or that vibration that you're carrying, there is bound to be a shift or a change in energy. Energy interacts with different kinds of energies, and sometimes, if you're not careful, it can really, really change and distort the kind of energy that you want. And then you'll be sitting there thinking, why is my crystal not working? Why am I not feeling a certain energy? It's just because sometimes you introduce other elements into an equation, and that equation really changes everything.
So I really feel like it's really important to really preserve the type of energy that you're working with, and to be conscious of that aspect every time that you're working with energy. So I personally feel that it's better to take off the crystal, so that it does not interact with the water, or it doesn't interact with the soap or the chemicals. It's better to secure that energy, which is really, really precious when you're really targeting a specific energy.
I mean, if you're just wearing crystals just for the sake of wearing crystals, that's another situation altogether. But if you are targeting a specific energy and you want to achieve certain results, I personally feel that it's better not to get into the shower with those particular crystals, because you want that energy radiating and working effectively for you. That's always the bottom line, at least for me.
So again, you want to make sure that there are no interruptions or changes to the energy or the vibrations of the crystal that you're wearing. And believe me, these changes in energy do occur and can happen when you're taking showers or when you expose your crystals to water or to other chemicals. Okay? So it's really, really important to preserve this energy. And there are a few things to consider here.
First of all, water has memory. Water is very, very impressionable. It can be easily imprinted. And the water that we use has the records of the history of all its relationships with the environment, where it's been and whatnot. It carries within its imprint that history of all the places that it has been. So you can imagine: when you're wearing your healing crystals, when you're taking a shower, the imprints from the water interact with the imprints on your crystal. And that really, really, really creates a whole new thing, which may not be what you want, because it really flips the energy. So that's the first thing, the water that we use has memory.
And the second thing is that the chemicals in the soap that we use are just so harsh. It's just not a good way to interact with the energies of whatever it is that we want to do. The chemicals in the soap and the mineral elements in the crystals that we use may really be antagonistic to each other and may just not work together. And it's just so obvious. Chemicals in the soap are just not good for our crystal babies, right? We know that, yeah? Okay.
The third thing is that when we are taking showers, we are cleansing ourselves. We are clearing our bodies. We are clearing our aura. So anything that's caught up in the energy of that water coming through, including our crystals, is also being cleansed, and also being cleared, and also being discharged, right? So if you are working with a crystal which has already got potent consolidated energy, what you're doing is effectively discharging that crystal. So when you come out from the shower, you'll be sitting there wearing your crystals and wondering why your crystals are not working. But what happened is that you just cleared your crystal. You just discharged the energy of your crystal. And that's why maybe it's not feeling as powerful as it needs to feel.
And what maybe needs to happen now is for you to reactivate that energy and just get your crystal back to a state where it's potent again. Because if you keep wearing that crystal, it's just going to be, okay, blank, blank, blank. And that's not what you want. You want your crystal to always maintain that powerful energy and work and support you until your process is clear, okay? So we always have to pay attention to the energy of how we feel.
When you're wearing a crystal, just don't walk around with it and just assume that it's working the way it needs to work. Notice your energy. If your energy feels down, kind of think, what's going on? How come I don't really feel the way I need to feel? And if your energy feels up, notice that as well. At least be very aware of how your energy is moving. It's so easy to be complacent about these things.
But if you're really working to achieve a specific purpose, you've got to be on point with some of these things, or train yourself to get into the habit of observing yourself. I feel personally that that's really, really important, especially when you're working to achieve a specific result. If you're not working to achieve specific results, then that's another case altogether, and that's fine as well, okay?
Then the other thing, again, about taking showers with crystals is that some crystals are just soft crystals, and they really should not be exposed to water for extended periods of time. So if you're working with calcite or selenites or any type of gypsum or any type of crystal that really dissolves when it's exposed to water, then you really obviously should avoid taking showers with those types of crystals, because it really changes the structure of the crystal and really diminishes their energy.
And by the way, before I forget, I have to mention this: there's a huge difference between taking showers regularly with your crystals and having a dedicated spiritual shower or a dedicated detox with your crystals inside the water, because the purpose for which these experiences are done are just different. So I want to put that out there, just so we don't get it twisted, and I'm not talking about spiritual detoxes. I'm just talking about the regular daily showers, for those who take daily showers, which is completely different from a spiritual shower or a detox bath, okay? All right.
Crystal lovers, let's pay more attention to life. Let's wake up more to the experiences we are having, and drive the bus, just knowing that no matter what it is that we are doing, the healing really truly comes from within us. These tools just assist us, but the healing truly comes from within us. We truly are the healers of our own lives. No matter what it seems, no matter what tools we are using or we appear to be using, we truly ultimately are the healers of our own lives. Healing comes from within.
