I've got a question for you. Is your favorite crystal a heat-treated crystal? If it is, then pay attention because you're going to find this video very useful for you.
You know I've been thinking about this subject of fake crystals for quite some time now because I know a lot of people, a lot of us crystal lovers, we work with crystals for energy healing purposes, and we also wear a lot of crystal healing jewelry for energetic purposes. So if we are walking around all decked up in this jewelry, working with our crystal grids, using these crystals for energetic healing, I believe that at the very least we should know whether the crystal we are working with has vital energy or not. We should know whether the crystal that we are working with is damaged or not. We should know whether the crystal we are working with has a vibration or not, right?
So this is the reason why I want to touch on this subject. You know these days there are so many fake crystals being sold out there. It's crazy the amount of crystals that are being sold and the type of crystals that are being passed off as being the natural or the genuine thing. You know sometimes I even just walk into these crystal shops and I just can't believe my eyes because really, what are these people selling? Like it's kind of ridiculous, but you know it is what it is.
But it's just so crazy and it can get really confusing for anybody because these crystals have been made to look so attractive. Because the more attractive the crystal is, the more valuable the crystal is. So since we know that for a lot of people it's all about the money, it's up to us as crystal lovers or as people who work with these spiritual tools to do our due diligence. And at least having an idea about what type of crystals have been artificially treated, what type of crystals have no vital energy or life, what type of crystals have no vibrational energy, is a good step in the right direction.
Anyway, this fake crystal stuff is so crazy. So I'm going to make a couple of dedicated videos to touch on these subjects. In this video, I'm just going to be talking about heat treated crystals in particular, but I'm going to be making another video specifically dedicated to dyed crystals and irradiated crystals, which I think is another crystal subject that has a very interesting twist.
The point I want to share with those who purchased or who have these fake crystals through no fault of their own and who are using these quote, quote, fake heated crystals for energy work or for healing purposes. The point I want them to know, or rather the point I want you to know from my personal perspective, is that crystals that have been artificially altered truly have no vibrational quality. The treatments that have been done to them to make them appear different have truly done some tremendous damage to their vibrational quality. So my perspective is that they're basically lifeless. They have no vital energy or they have a diminished energy. And really, it's just so sad that some of these crystals are really, really expensive. And yet their true value has been diminished by the damaging artificial treatments that they have undergone. The whole thing is just unfortunate. Don't you think? I think so.
Anyway, you know, the main ways that crystals get their colors is either naturally from the earth or through these artificial treatments that are done by man. But interestingly, there are some people who don't really consider heat treated crystals or artificially treated crystals as being fake or fraudulent. They really don't mind as long as the crystal has a specific color and it looks attractive. And maybe if they're sellers, as long as they can make a lot of money from it, it works fine. Because obviously for some sellers, you know, the more attractive the merchandise, the faster it moves out the door, right? It's all about that. Yeah. And in the larger scheme of things, who can blame them? That's the way life is. And maybe the seller just doesn't know that the crystal is not the real deal.
And another thing is that there are also some healers or energy workers or crystal lovers who work with these crystals or these artificially treated stones who may not mind or care about whether the crystal is artificially treated or not because they work with these crystals based on the color that the crystal has. For example, for things like color therapy and whatnot. My main concern in cases like this is just that someone might be working with a crystal thinking that it really has some energetic vibration or energetic quality to it, but it really doesn't. And it's because of things like this that sometimes we don't get the results that we want when we are working with these spiritual tools. When we think that something is one thing and then it's the other thing, you know what I mean? So this is why I want us really to pay attention.
And then, of course, there are also some other people who have said many times that they don't feel the energy of a crystal. Perhaps this could be one of the reasons. The stone that you are using, if it was artificially treated, has no vital vibrational energy. So maybe that's why you can't sense the energy of that stone. Crystal lovers, these heat-treated crystals do not have the same energetic effects as the real ones. They really don't. They're completely different and they're not suited for healing, energetic or even spiritual work. So just be aware.
Some examples of heat-treated crystals to be aware of, which are commonly sold today, are crystals like citrine. I don't have a fake one to show you, otherwise I would. But a huge amount of citrine in the market today, it's not the true natural citrine, which is usually pale yellowish or champagne looking or has a smoky yellowish color like this one. And I'm sure you've seen the fake citrines which are sold almost everywhere. They have an orangeish yellow color and these are, in fact, heat-treated amethyst. They usually look like this amethyst, but they are an orange yellowish color. I bet you've seen them.
The sad thing about this whole thing is that if someone has bought the crystal thinking that it's citrine and wanting to utilize the energy of citrine, unfortunately they won't be able to get that energy because what they're working with is not citrine. So in cases like that, then they just have to figure out how to work with that crystal in terms of the colors, because maybe that's where its strongest energy could be coming from.
Another common heat-treated crystal to be aware of is aquamarine, where they deepen the blue color of aquamarine to remove the green color. And then we also have carnelians. These are usually heat-treated for the color intensity. And you know, I was shocked to find out that a vast majority of carnelians in the market are actually not real carnelian stones. They're actually dyed and heat-treated agates. And when I found out about this, I was really, really shocked because I have never really felt the energy of this particular crystal of mine. So upon looking at this crystal of mine, I do see that it's probably a dyed agate. This is not good at all.
Anywho, a few other crystals are crystals like sapphire, which are usually heat-treated to make their colors lighter or more intense in some cases and also more uniform. And then we also have crystals like topaz, which may be heat-treated in combination with radiation to create the pink or blue shades of topaz, and also some types of tourmaline are heat-treated to lighten the color of the blue and the green tourmalines.
So again, for those who are using crystals for healing work, for crystal grids, for chakra work, for any type of energy work, just pay attention to the type of crystal that you're working with. If you're working with a heat-treated crystal or wearing a heat-treated crystal, don't feel bad. Just remember that we live and learn and our intention to heal is much more powerful than any other spiritual tool. The God within us can bring healing to us with or without these spiritual tools. So it's all good. Just pay attention, test your crystals, feel your crystals and find out for yourself.
