Hi, in this video, I want to talk about birthstones, because I know that many people have birthstones. They have bought gifts for others as birthstones, or maybe they have even received gifts for themselves as birthstones.

But I have noticed something very interesting: there are many people who are very accepting of birthstones. They feel very comfortable with birthstones. But if you gave those same people crystals, there would be total resistance and rejection mode.

But birthstones are really essentially crystals, so it's so interesting to me, because I have bought some pendants, some birthstone pendants for a few friends of mine, and they have been very receptive to these pendants.

But yet these same people totally reject crystals because they think that crystals are some kind of woo-woo stuff.

So in this video, I want to share five ways in which anyone can work with birthstones in a very meaningful way, so that whether we think they're crystals or not, we can get some meaning behind why we are working with the birthstones we have, and also so that if you're buying a gift for someone who is not into crystals, you can give them an additional explanation or reasoning behind what this birthstone really means that might prove to be very, very beneficial for them.

Okay, before I get into the five ways in which we can use our birthstones, let me quickly say this. The origin of these birthstones is a really ancient tradition. I know that there are some people who have a problem with crystals.

They're not sure whether crystals are good or bad, but the thing is crystals are found in many of these religious texts, and crystals have been used by the ancients from time immemorial.

So us using crystals at this time, or speaking out about how we love crystals, is not a new thing. It's been there from forever, okay, yeah.

So another thing is that birthstones are found across many cultures which put a lot of stock in them, so they have classical and traditional birthstones, they have natal birthstones, they have birthstones by the zodiac, and all the types of birthstones can be easily found on the internet just by doing a quick search.

So all this information about the different types of birthstones, especially based on the zodiac sign, which is really, really common, is easily found on the internet so anybody can look them up.

So for example, a quick look on the internet has January birthstones are Ruby, February, Amethyst, March, Aquamarine, April, Diamond, May, Emerald, June, Pearls, Alexandrite, or Moonstones, July, Ruby, August, Peridot, September, Sapphire, October, Opal, or Tourmaline, Pink Tourmaline.

November they have citrine, yellow topaz, and December they have blue zircon, topaz, and tanzanite. So as you can see, it's pretty easy to figure out from your month of birth what your particular birthstone is.

Okay, so what are birthstones? Birthstones are the precious or semi-precious stones or crystals that are usually found in jewelry pieces.

They are usually gem quality, transparent crystals that have a specific cut, clarity, and carats, and usually contaminants have been removed from the crystal to achieve that kind of perfection, and they usually look like this beauty here. Look at this beautiful piece.

This is an Amethyst gemstone, and most of the birthstones that most people buy as jewelry have this type of clarity, as opposed to looking like this. They look like this and not like this. So it's really, really interesting.

Okay, so let me now share the five ways in which we can use our birthstones consciously to help us in our process of growth, because I completely and totally believe that when you're working with stones, it's always good to know at least a few reasons why we are working with those stones, whether they are birthstones or whether they are raw crystals, okay?

So the first thing is, birthstones really help a lot with self-acceptance, because you'll find that many people who love their birthstones are really connected to the idea that their birthstones represent something that's really meaningful to them, and that's either their astrological sign or their month of birth.

So you'll find in an interesting way that most people who love birthstones are acknowledging on a much deeper level, even if it seems unconscious, something that's higher than them.

The connection to the astrological signs, the connection to a month of birth, that acceptance of something that's bigger than them, that makes them feel and remember and get activated, whether it's conscious or unconscious, there's an acknowledgement of something deeper and bigger and wider than themselves, and you find that most people are proud to say, yes, I was born in February, yes, I was born in March, or yes, I was born in July, I'm a Pisces, I'm an Aquarius, I'm a Capricorn, they feel connected to a larger scope, so there's that acceptance and not a resistance.

So birthstones can be very, very powerful tools to use in cases where people are needing to accept themselves on a much wider and larger scale, or in cases where someone is working to discover their roots or working to discover who they are or to define who they are or even to accept themselves and who they are as a person.

So that's the first way, birthstones are good tools to use for self-acceptance.

The second way in which to use your birthstones is for clarity and transparency, because the birthstones are usually very, very transparent crystals and very, very transparent stones, so in cases where you need to find transparency within yourself or to find clarity in your own inner life, you might consider working with your own personal birthstone, which is very specific to you, as a means of finding that transparency and finding the clarity within you so that you can truly emerge as the being that you truly are.

Be seen clearly, be a transparent person, engage with others in a very transparent and clear manner, so your birthstone might be a good tool to consider as opposed to just maybe working with clear quartz as a crystal for transparency.

You might want to use the birthstone that is very clear, that's very transparent, and that's very specific for you.

So the third way that you can use your birthstone is for authenticity. The reason I'm saying this is because most of these birthstones are gem quality stones and most of them have really been certified as being authentic.

And because they've been certified as being authentic, not that other crystals are not, just because they've been through that process of certification to ensure that most of the quality gemstones or birthstones are authentic, you can use them for yourself as a tool to help you really truly return to your authentic nature, making sure that all the contaminants are removed, making sure that everything that's blocking your path or standing in the way of you being your authentic self is worked on and released so that you can truly come into that gem quality nature that is reflected by your birthstone.

So you can use a birthstone as an authentic tool to remind you always to remember to stay in your authentic truth.

The fourth way that you can use your birthstone is to use your birthstone as a tool to remind you of how precious and how valuable you are.

Most of these birthstones are gem quality, precious or semi-precious stones, so that just tells a lot when you're working or wearing your birthstones.

Remember, remind yourself of how valuable, how precious you are as a person, how unique, how special, how good and beautiful in every way you are.

So working with this can help you really remember that aspect of yourself, that you are a precious, beautiful, magnificent being. So this is another way in which your birthstone can assist you in remembering your preciousness, okay? Yeah.

So the fifth way in which you can use your birthstone to assist you as you go about your daily life is in situations where you need endurance. Most of these precious stones that we use as birthstones are hard stones. They are not soft.

They are strong. They have endured a lot. They can withstand a lot. They don't break easily.

So if you're going through a situation in which we need to be strong, in which we need a lot of endurance, working with our specific birthstones is a great way that we can use some of these stones to assist us in situations like these.

So to summarize, if you have a birthstone or if you're buying a birthstone for someone else, you can always tell them that the birthstone can be used for self-acceptance. It can be used to help them gain transparency and clarity in their own lives.

It can be used to help them be authentic. It can be used to help them remember their preciousness, and it can be used in situations where they need endurance and strength.

So those are the five ways in which you can use your birthstones in a very effective way so that you're just not wearing them as jewelry, but you're wearing them for the extra reasons that make them extra special.

So anyway, let me know what your birthstone is in the comments on YouTube below and until next time, stay precious. I love you guys. Mwah! Bye!
