Do you have a fake crystal or have you ever suspected that a crystal that you have might not just be the real deal? Well in this video, I want to share my perspective on what I have learned about crystals that are considered to be fake, not genuine, not original, not truth, not authentic, not real, false, masked crystals, disguised crystals, camouflaged crystals, irradiated heat-treated crystals, dyed synthetic crystals, and all those good words.
Because I know this is a question that is always in the back of the minds of those people who come across crystals that they have a suspicion about. I want to say right off the bat that I know that it really sucks when you discover that, oops, my crystal is not genuine, my crystal is not the real deal. It really, really sucks, you know, that whole idea of you putting out your money to get something and then when you get that package, you're all excited and when you open it up, it looks like the real thing, but you're not sure and then you discover, oh my gosh, this is not the real thing. It really, really, really sucks. That's all I have to say because I've really been in that boat.
As a matter of fact, this is a smoky quartz crystal. This is a crystal that was sold to me as a smoky quartz, but it really is a quartz, a heated quartz. When I got this crystal, it looked so beautiful, but I was really shocked to get it. But then it taught me the most beautiful lesson and I want to share that lesson here because I know that there is never, never any accident, at least that's how I perceive my life, that there is never really an accident that occurs. And everything that happens in my life, and I guess I'm trusting in the lives of everyone else depending on how you feel, that everything is always in service to us. Everything teaches us something. Every experience is here to serve us, including the experience of getting fake crystals.
So when you get a fake crystal, or when I get a fake crystal, I'm always asking myself, Caroline, why is this fake crystal in your life? Why have you attracted this fake crystal in your life? What is it here to teach you? Because everything teaches us. What is this experience of attracting a fake crystal into your life teaching you?
You know, when you've been genuinely working with crystals and when you're working with crystals to help you in your process of growth and evolution and change, the crystals will always reflect to you all the good things and all the bad things. There'll always be a mirror. And it's not really good or bad in that sense. It's always good in the sense that you can amplify this aspect of your life and bad in the sense that this is something that no longer serves you. Only in that grain, crystals will always reflect to you the whole you. So based on the information that you get from the crystals, especially when you're working with crystals, not for their aesthetic beauty, but when you're using crystals as tools for healing and growth and expansion, they'll always reflect certain aspects of yourself to you so you can see yourself.
So when I got this fake crystal in my life, I asked myself, Caroline, I mean after I had really, really calmed down and accepted this crystal into my life, I asked myself, what is the lesson that this crystal is here to show me? And I learned something very important. Crystals that are fake are truly here to help you get back into your true authentic self. Crystals that are fake are here to help us remove the masks, you know, remove everything that is not genuine in our lives. They help us look into the areas in which we are deceiving ourselves, shielding ourselves, wearing masks, hiding, so that who we are, the authentic people that we are, can come forward.
Crystals that are fake are the best teachers because really at this time, what we want, we are all coming back into authenticity. We are getting rid of the fakeness, the fake ways in which we present ourselves, the fake things in our lives, the fake relationships, things that are not genuine, that are not truth, that are not us, you know? We are getting rid of these things. So when you've attracted a fake crystal into your life, you have attracted the best teacher because then you can look at your life and see: in what areas of my life have I not been true to myself? In what areas am I being fake? Am I not being authentic? Am I not being original? Am I not being in truth? Write those things down and just work on eliminating those things from your life so that you can return to your authentic self because truly this is the time for authenticity.
So really these fake crystals, if you have one in your life, you know, forget the money, that's gone. The greater lesson is this crystal is your friend and it's probably here to teach you or remind you to be the authentic person that you are, to come into alignment with your truth. I really, really love these fake crystals and I'm really thankful for this smoky quartz. It's truly a beautiful crystal. It has taught me a wonderful lesson and I hope that if you have a fake crystal, that you also appreciate and love yours as much as I love mine.
