Hi! In this video, I'm going to be talking about broken crystals, shaped crystals, cracked crystals, fragmented crystals, and what I feel about them and why I love them so much.
You know, crystals break for any number of reasons. Sometimes the crystal just breaks because it's soft. Other times the crystal breaks because of sudden temperature changes.
It might be so hot, and then it becomes very cold, and the crystal can't take it and it breaks. Other times the crystal can break just because we drop it on a hard surface — it can't take it, obviously, and it breaks.
And then sometimes it's because it absorbs a lot of energy from us, and it can't take it, and it just snaps or breaks, because it signifies something to us — which I might talk about towards the end of this video.
In any event, the crystal breaks. But the question is: just because a crystal has broken, does it make it less efficient, effective, or lovable? This is the question I'd like you to think about as we listen to this video.
Many people tend to think that when a crystal is broken, there is somehow something wrong with the crystal — that the fact that a crystal is broken signifies some ominous thing is about to happen, or represents something that is not good for us.
But I want to say that, from my experience, that is really not the truth. That is truly not the truth, because I perceive crystals from a very loving perspective.
I see crystals as tools that are here to assist us and to love us. They are just here to be love, you know, and to help us return to love and remember love, because that is truly what we are.
So whether a crystal is broken or not, when you have it as a piece, is irrelevant.
Number one: all crystals have come from the earth, and when they come from the earth, when they are mined and brought to the surface, they are broken from their structures.
So just be happy in knowing that broken crystals are perfect just the way they are.
There is no ominous message behind it when your crystal breaks, because crystals — number one — have come from the earth, and when they come from the earth, they're all in separate pieces.
They're broken into pieces and chunks, and we go out and we buy them. So they're already broken. It doesn't really matter, because they still work, and they do an awesome job.
So I just want to dispel that idea, because I know some people do have the idea that when crystals are broken, there's something wrong with them. There's nothing wrong with crystals.
They're just perfect the way they are, broken or not, and they're just as efficient and as loving and as effective, and can do anything that they're here to assist you with, as long as you're cooperating.
They can truly, truly take you to that place where you need to be. On so many levels, energetically, they can truly assist you to transform your life.
So crystals are just love, broken or not.
And if you know me, you know I really consider crystals as truly intelligent living consciousnesses from the mineral kingdom, and I can have complete and utter respect and love for these beings that are here to assist me and so many others in this lifetime.
So I feel that in so many ways, the way I treat my crystals is the way I would like to be treated.
Now, I think about it like this. Just because I am broken — and I'm just using the word "broken" for purposes of this video, because it does not hold truth. We are never broken. Brokenness is a lie; it's an illusion.
But it is a way for me to express this, because I know those are the words that we use to try to express our pain and our feelings. But that's not truth.
We are slowly coming to understand that we truly are whole, and we are returning to that wholeness. And brokenness is truly an illusion that keeps us fragmented and separate in ourselves. But we're truly coming together.
We're truly coming together and aligning ourselves in truth, and we truly never are broken. So I'm just using it for purposes of this video.
When we are feeling broken in our lives, does that mean that we can't love ourselves? Does that mean that we cannot be loved by others? Crystals — like this beautiful labradorite I have — this crystal just makes my heart pound.
It's so beautiful, and it just has these heart-shaped colors on it, yellows and blues and gold, and it's just so beautiful, I tell you. But then it's broken, and I bought it specifically because it's broken — a heart that's broken.
I tell you, this thing really represents a lot. It represented a lot, and it really helped me in my healing process.
But I love it because it truly signified a way that I felt at some point in my life, and it showed me that no matter how broken it was on the outside, it truly was whole.
Just because a crystal is broken does not mean that it's not whole.
I learned this lesson once when I went to an energy healer, and while he was working on me, he picked up on an energy imbalance on a part of my body where I had had surgery.
I had had a part of my body removed — one of my organs was removed. So this guy basically told me, "Oh, your body is imbalanced here.
I feel like something's missing." And I thought to myself, "Oh no, I don't have that body part." And the person was like, "Well, even though you don't have it, energetically it still exists." So it taught me the number one lesson: the fact that we have certain organs removed, the fact that your leg is broken, the fact that you might have something wrong with your body or some part that's cracked or chipped or fragmented, does not mean that you're not whole.
Same way with crystals — the fact that it's broken does not mean that it's not whole. Energetically, you still exist. And the truth is, we are energy. The physical being is just a covering. The real thing is, we are energetic beings.
And the imbalances are noticed in us when we work with energy workers, with crystals. The imbalances are noticed when a part of us is missing. Then we realize, oh my gosh, we truly are whole, whether that part is there physically or not.
So I learned my first lesson: that no matter how we look on the outside, energetically we hold.
And crystals that are broken — and why I love them so much — is because when I feel love emanating from them, and the teaching and the lessons emanating from them, I know that there's a wholeness in them.
It doesn't matter how the crystal looks on the outside. So work with your broken crystals. Do not discard them. Do not throw them away. Don't do anything like that.
And then I also want to say something. I've heard a lot of things about crystals being buried — when your crystal has broken, not being thrown — when your crystals are broken, I hear that some people bury the crystals under the earth.
And I do understand where that concept comes from, because the crystals come from the earth, and they feel nurtured. It's sort of like burying a crystal, you know, putting it back into nature. But that, to me, signifies death.
I don't think that crystals die. Just because you're broken does not mean you need to be buried. I feel that the way I treat my crystals is the way I treat myself, or I would want to be treated.
When I'm broken, when there's something wrong with me, would I want to be buried just because I'm broken? No. I want to live. I'm alive. Please don't bury me. Don't bury me. This is how I feel about that whole notion of burying crystals.
But everyone should just go by how they feel.
I feel that when my crystal is broken, or when I've broken crystals — I mean, it used to happen a lot; now it doesn't happen as often — but when I have a broken crystal, or when I buy a broken crystal, I'm definitely not planning for it to go under the earth.
It's a living consciousness to me. It's alive. Just because it's broken doesn't mean it's dead. So it doesn't need to be buried. That's my perspective on burying broken crystals.
Also, when I have a crystal and it's broken and I have different pieces, instead of burying them, I usually just put them out by the window with their brothers and sisters, so that they can continue feeling nurtured and loved and protected, and the sun can keep shining on them so they feel good.
This is how I would like to be treated when something's wrong with me. I want to be with my family. I want to be with other humans and people who love me, so I can feel better. This is how I treat my crystals.
I don't bury my crystals. I don't throw them. I put them back with their family, with the brothers and sisters by the window, and let the sun shine on them.
So this is how I feel about that aspect of broken crystals. Then also, it's sort of a matter of just accepting the crystal for what it is and knowing that it's so beautiful, it's so loving, it's here to help us.
Broken crystals are just like, in a way, humans. We sometimes feel we are so broken, we're so chipped, we're so fragmented, and maybe we are not good enough. But I just want to remind you: we are good enough.
We are perfect just the way we are. We are energy.
You know, the whole story of Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. I mean, Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put Humpty Dumpty together again.
I think that's so applicable, especially when I think about crystals and us as humans being broken — that no matter how we feel, even though Humpty Dumpty wasn't really an egg, no matter how we feel, we cannot be put together again.
The great lesson is: nobody can put us together again. Not the King's horses, not the King's men. But we put ourselves together again when we understand that we can heal ourselves. The healing starts from us.
The understanding and the awareness that we are healers and that we are not broken starts from us. Then we really can heal ourselves. So I think that is the greatest lesson.
So broken crystals are awesome. We are amazing. Let me know how you use your broken crystals and your cracked crystals. And know that we are perfect just the way we are. We are so beautiful.
I love you guys, and I'll see you guys next time. Oh, please don't forget to tell me how you use your broken crystals and what you do about them, and maybe even how you feel about them. I'd like to hear. Love you. Bye.
See you next time.
