Hi, in this video, I'm going to talk about how to make the right decision for yourself. How to make the right choices for yourself. How do you tell whether you're making the right choice or the right decision when something has come up?

How do you know that this is the right thing to do and that this is the choice to take and not the other one? How do you tell?

Man, that thing is so confusing sometimes and oh my gosh, I have made my fair share of seemingly wrong decisions and wrong choices in my life, and I would not wish some of those consequences on anyone. But you know what?

We all know that there's no wrong decision ever taken and there's no accident.

If you make a choice and you make a decision, you're probably going to go on some adventure of your life, and at the end of it, there will be lessons that you have learned and there will be consequences that have accrued as a result of those decisions that will obviously make you a better person.

Maybe you'll meet some people, maybe you'll meet some circumstances, maybe you'll change, maybe you'll grow, maybe you'll evolve. You never really know, so there really is no wrong or right decision.

But if you're faced with a situation and you feel like you don't have time to waste on taking those detours in your life, then I know of a simple way that has really proven to be so effective and I love it because it's the simplest way to make decisions.

So okay, how do I know that I'm off my path when I have to make a decision? Should I take this job? Should I meet this person? Should I go to this place? Should I be part of this event, whatever it is?

How do I know when I have to make a decision that that decision is the right decision? Usually, first of all, you have to listen to your body.

If you have to do something, number one, listen to your body. The way it happens to me is, I get an anxiety in my solar plexus. When I'm making the wrong decision and I'm off my path, the first thing is my body speaks.

The body always tells you the truth. So listen to your body. My solar plexus is like ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, stop. And sometimes I'm like, okay, oh my gosh, I feel anxiety, but I decide to override the decision.

So that's usually my first clue that I'm off.

So if there's a part of your body that is a feeler, when you are making a decision and you feel that something is off, when you think about that thing, when you feel that situation, then definitely watch out.

In other words, check yourself before you wreck yourself. Anywho. Okay. So once my anxiety has gone off, the next thing that makes me know that I'm not making the right decision is when I start analyzing things. I'm like, okay, where's my list?

Caroline, don't move to this apartment or don't move to this place or don't go out with this person because A, B, C, D, E, F, G. I'm writing down my list of pros and cons, logic. I'm no longer in my heart.

I'm now over analyzing stuff. Man, that is another clue right there that you're off your mind. You're about to lose it, girl. You better stop. Okay? So that's my second clue. Then now it gets worse.

Now I'm totally off when I'm calling people on the phone and asking them, by the way, I'm about to do this and this. What do you think about this? What do you think about this? Should I do this or should I do that?

At that point, I'm totally off my path and that decision needs to just take a seat. Okay? So I'm telling you, there's simple things, but the body always speaks.

When you're out of your heart, your decisions should always be made from your heart. Your heart is the truth. It never lies. When you're out of it, your body will tell you. You'll feel anxiety. You'll start analyzing things. It shows you.

You're in your mind. And then you'll start looking for external confirmation of whether you're doing the right thing or not. By then, I'm really like, okay, I need to chill.

But now that I have learned this tool, it's so easy for me to make decisions that are heart centered. We really should be listening to the heart. We really should be in the heart space. We really should be feeling things. It's not logic.

Some of these things don't make sense. Your heart speaks the truth. Your soul speaks the truth. Your heart speaks the truth. Okay?

So the one thing that I learned that has been so helpful for me, especially it could be helpful to people who are not very intuitive or who are just learning to be intuitive. Listen to your heart.

Listen to your heart and then ask yourself two simple questions. This decision I'm about to make, does it feel like love? Whatever it is you're about to do, you're about to go out with someone. Does this thing feel like love?

You're about to buy a house. You're about to work. You're working at a job. You're sitting there. Does that feel like love? Is it a loving thing you're doing? Is it a loving experience? Is it a loving situation for you to be in?

Right there, you know whether you've made the right decision or not. Does that thing you're about to do feel like love? If it doesn't feel like love, check yourself. Ding, ding, ding, ding. Second thing, does it feel like joy?

I mean, the things you do in your life, whatever it is, a decision, when you're meeting a person, when you're doing something new, when you're venturing on to do something, whatever it is, does it feel like joy? Does it make you feel alive?

Does it make you feel joyful? If it doesn't, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. I mean, you get second chances. Does it feel like love? Does it feel like joy? If not, those things need to take a seat.

They need to take a seat and you need to just stop for a minute and just say, you know what? This is not the right decision for me. If it feels like love, then do it by all means.

Your heart has just given you a green light. If it feels like joy, all the better. Jump for joy because you're on the right path. So the simplest way to learn how to make decisions from your heart is ask yourself two simple questions.

And then you'll not have to take the detours. You'll avoid a lot of suffering. Okay? Does it feel like love and does it feel like joy? I love you guys. Let's make the right decisions. Love-based decisions from our hearts. Leave me a note.

Let me know how you make your decisions. And then the sharing will expand and we'll be all in a better place in the days ahead. I love you so much and I'll see you guys next time.
