Hi, in this video I'm going to be talking about consciously choosing to surrender the things that don't work in your life. Making that conscious decision, as in actively participating in making the decision to let go of what's not working in your life.

The kind of stuff that just drives you nuts, has been driving you nuts over the past many years or whatever. Making that bold decision to just say no. I'm done. I'm tired. I am laying them down.

Please help me. Please take it away, or whatever.

And just saying, I am surrendering these things that don't work anymore, and allowing, allowing for a new energy, a new thing to come into my life and just transform it, and at least take me in a different direction than I have been going.

It's difficult. It's difficult to let go. It's difficult to surrender. It's difficult to say goodbye to your friends. It's difficult to say goodbye to jobs that you hate.

It's difficult to say goodbye to circumstances and situations and even personal relationships that are not working out. It's not easy. Trust me, it's not easy.

Okay, so there's this mattress that I've been having for so many years. It's not comfortable. I mean, it is comfortable, but there's some dent in the mattress.

Usually when I'm sleeping, the bed is comfy and everything, but every once in a while, when I'm laying down, I can feel that dent that makes the mattress not comfortable.

I'm always just accommodating the situation and saying, oh well, making excuses for why I don't want to toss that mattress out, and how lazy I've become. Well, I get used to it. You kind of adjust to a situation.

After a while, the mattress has been with me for a long, very long time. The mattress needs to go, because it bothers me that there's that kind of dent in my mattress.

I've always felt that I need to throw it out, but I've just tolerated the situation. So what are you tolerating? What are you tolerating that's not working out?

For me, I'm tolerating a lot of things, and one of those things is my old mattress, which needs to go.

This year, I'm choosing to surrender and just toss it out and get a new one that fits me, and bring in a new energy and just comfort, so I don't have to think about that little dent every time I go to sleep.

I am going to be surrendering a lot of things, things that are of the old energy, things that are of the past, because now, in the world as it is, there's a new energy.

An energy that, if you do not surrender the things that don't make you happy, is so powerful and so transformative that it will force you to surrender.

Either you willingly surrender things that don't work, so you are more into the things that you love, much more aligned to who you are, to your truth, and to the things that are of love and of light, as opposed to things that bring you such unhappiness, things that cause such a dark, heavy energy around your life.

The thing is, are you going to willingly surrender the old, place them at the altar and just say that you're done?

Ask for angelic assistance, ask for heavenly assistance, ask for whatever God can do for you to just lift this burden off and replace that energy with things that are truly aligned with you, even if it's a relationship.

You'd rather be in a relationship that works than one that causes you constant frustration, unless it's for a reason and you have to work through the issues so you can become a stronger person or evolve into the person you need to be.

But if it's really killing you, really surrender, whatever kind of relationship it may be, with a human being or with a situation. Think about it.

What are you willing to surrender this year, so you can allow for the powerful, energetic, vibrant, life-giving, authentic energies to make you the person that you have to be? What are you willing to surrender? What's been killing you?

What's been not working out for you for a long time? What are the old energies, the old things that really, at this point, need to die so that you can live? Think about it.

It's time to surrender the old things and embrace the new. Allow for the old things to go, and the new energies, the energies of the new times: love, light, power, strength, authenticity. Allow for that.

See you next time.
