Hi, in this video I'm going to be talking about two of my other favorite stones: red jasper and black agate. But first I'm going to talk about red jasper. So I want to introduce you to Big Red.
As you know, I like to name my crystals, and this one is called Big Red. Look at her. Isn't she just so pretty? Why are all my stones female? Anyway, when I bought this stone, I was feeling very lethargic.
I thought, well, because she's red, and jasper is red, and red is the color of the root chakra. You can also use it for your sacral chakra. So it's either for the root chakra, which is the first chakra, or the second chakra.
The color red: very grounding stone. If you want to earth yourself or ground yourself, jasper is one of the stones for grounding. So I thought, well, I'm going to go by the color symbology.
Since red is fire energy, vitality, creativity, and that's what I wanted in my life, I was like, you know what, I feel like I need to get a red stone. So I got Big Red here.
What I found out was really, really interesting, but I'm going to share that in a minute. It's so funny: the day I brought Big Red to my place, a friend of mine was visiting, and she was very, very terrified of this stone.
I was very taken aback by the kind of reaction that she had to this stone, and all she kept saying was like, why do I feel that this stone is making me focus?
She felt like the way she reacted to the stone was like she felt like the stone was forcing her somehow to get herself together and to stop being ungrounded, because she's a very ungrounded person.
So she basically complained bitterly and said that she didn't want this stone to be anywhere around her, because she felt that she was being grounded really severely. And that's something that she's not interested in at all.
So I was very surprised by that kind of reaction from her.
It made me realize that, well, I guess people do really react differently to crystals, and even people who have no desire to know anything about crystals usually feel the effects of having the crystal energy around or in your space.
For that reason alone, I highly recommend it. If you have people who are ungrounded, bring jasper home, and maybe you'll get people to kind of focus and deal with practical matters and earthly issues instead of just being all up in their head.
That's why I say that jasper is very grounding, and I believe that, because that person who had no interest in crystals felt the energy of the stone and felt that she was feeling like she needed to avoid Big Red because she was getting grounded.
Okay, so before I talk more about Big Red, let me show you the other stone that I wanted to talk about in this video. She's so heavy. All right. Okay. So this other one here is my black agate stone. Look at her.
People really do think that this stone is really dangerous. Anyone who sees this stone immediately thinks that there's something not quite right with me, just because I have this black stone in my house. This black stone is called Mystique.
It's very mysterious to me, and I named it Mystique, because just being black in itself is such an interesting thing, and I'm not sure why this scares a lot of people.
In that darkness, there's always light. When you focus in the darkness and see with your spiritual eyes, you always discover the light in the darkness. So being black means nothing, really. It just depends on how your perception is, or how brainwashed you've been.
Because most people think that black things, and things that they don't understand, and mysterious things are not good and are basically cuckoo situations, but it's not really the case.
The deeper thing about black agate is this: I wanted to use it for grounding, and it sure does ground me, but the most important thing about this thing is that it allows me to focus on the mystery behind the things that you see at face value.
Just because it's dark, when sometimes things are not clear, you just have to steal yourself and use your inner eyes to understand and to see what lies beyond, and to embrace that, because usually it's not as bad as you think.
As a matter of fact, it's usually fantastic.
So do not be afraid of the dark. You have to walk into the dark, and you have to be able to find a way through that darkness. There's always a story in that darkness. Don't be afraid of dark things.
Don't be afraid of things that people think are occult, because usually they're not. It's just maybe a lack of understanding.
So anyway, my personal thing about these two stones that I'm talking about today is that Big Red and Mystique came into my life, and I found out that they really do have a very forceful and yet quiet presence that really, really grounds.
They're very calming stones. Jasper is a very calming stone. It's very soothing. They're both very nurturing stones, and they're very calming, and they're very grounding, and they have a very quiet and forceful presence. So do not underestimate these two stones.
If you want that rough, come-back-down-to-reality kind of grounding, try black agate. Especially to remember that there's always light in that darkness, and sometimes it's your inner light that needs to shine through the darkness so that you can find your way.
And also to remember that if you need grounding, or people in your space need grounding, think about red jasper. Actually, these two stones are for basically most people use them for grounding.
But as I always say, you always have to find the special meaning for why crystals are in your life, and then use that as a guide for how you want the stones to interact with you.
So basically, these are my two stones: Mystique and Red Jasper. Do you have a black stone? Do you have a black agate? Do you have a red stone? Is it a red jasper?
I would like to hear how you interact with these stones, so leave your comments below. This is black agate, and this is red jasper. See you next time. Bye, guys.
