How long do you have to wait before you do the right thing? How long do you have to wait, really? I was just thinking about a friend of mine who takes forever to get the point.
He takes forever to get the point, really, and it gets on my last nerve. He's the kind of person who's very interested and very enthusiastic about things. He's so excited. He wants to do things. He wants to get things moving.
He's interested in the things that I'm interested in. He's interested in eating healthy and just being. We have a lot of common interests; that's what I'm trying to say. We have a lot of common interests.
But the thing is, while I'm busy taking action to ensure that our common interests and the goals that we have set for ourselves are being met, he, on the other hand, never does a thing to try to change his life.
Here's my number one supporter, and I'm thinking, if I'm doing it and we've been talking about it, and we've been listening to the same kinds of things that help to change our lives, why are you not taking any steps to change your life?
I constantly have to really, really prod him so he can do something about his life, and it gets on my nerve that he just doesn't have the power, the strength, to actualize things.
Think about your own life. How long does it take you to get it? How long does it take you to just take the steps you need to take in order to get your life moving?
My friend is always complaining about how lethargic he is, or how things are not working out for him the way they need to. And he knows he really has to take the steps he needs to take in order for things to start happening.
Because if you don't change your life, if you keep on moving at the same pace, you'll be moving without seeing a change. That's a cue for you to do something different in order to see the change that you so desire.
So really, don't wait until everything is falling apart before you start taking action. Don't wait for things to fall apart. Don't wait until you're sick to think, oh my God, maybe I should take my pills. Maybe I should eat healthy.
Maybe I should go for walks. Maybe I should take whatever I need to take in order to get healthy.
The moment you hear the message coming through, and I'm a believer, many of you know that, I believe there are no accidents.
When you hear a message about health and at that moment you're thinking, oh my God, I should really do this, this is really speaking to me, take that as a cue that that is a message for you.
It's not a message for your neighbor. It's not a message for your sister. It's not a message for your friend. It's a message for you. So do what you need to do to start getting healthy.
Do what you need to do to start pursuing your goals, really.
The message is always for you. The stirring in your heart is always an indicator that that is a message for you. Don't run away from your truth. Do what you need to do. Stay healthy. Eat healthy. Pursue your goals.
Live the life that you want to live. Fall in love with the right people. Make friends with the right people. Take the bold steps that you need to take.
Don't wait until it's too late, when the opportunity has passed you by, when the window is closing, for you then to sit back and have regrets.
A life of regrets is not the life that you want. A life of action, a life of power, a life of strength, joy, life, and love, that's truly the life that you should be pursuing. So it's never too late.
Take this as a warning. Take this as a gentle encouragement, if I may say so, for you to go out there and do the thing that you have to do today. Life is just waiting for you to show up. So show up.
See you next time.
