I know that many of us have tiger eye in our crystal collection, and that many of us love tiger eye for the strength it gives us. In this video I want to share at least six crystal combinations that go really well with tiger eye, and at least one type of crystal that is not a good combination for tiger eye. That one is a no-no in my books.

Tiger eye, this brown golden yellow crystal, is a very powerful crystal. It has such a masculine, active energy. The brown you see in tiger eye is hematite, which is iron, and the yellow in tiger eye is jasper. This crystal is basically a combination of hematite and jasper. We know hematite is rich in iron, therefore tiger eye is also rich in iron, and like most crystals with high iron content, tiger eye is grounding. It is a very strengthening crystal in a physical sense, with a very masculine, active energy. Because of these great qualities, it is great for fatigue and for people who want to improve and increase their power. I have noticed most men love to wear tiger eye, maybe because of that power-enhancing factor.

Tiger eye is really good for your self-confidence, your sense of power, the solar plexus chakra, and digestive issues. It is a great crystal to use.

The first crystal combination that works well with tiger eye, from my perspective, is tiger eye and black tourmaline. One of my viewers, Stone Lover, commented that one of his favorite combinations is tiger eye and black tourmaline, and that it really puts him in beast mode. This is so true. Black tourmaline is a powerful crystal that absorbs toxic energy, and it is also very grounding. Tiger eye is also powerful and grounding, and it really puts people in power mode, because your solar plexus is a power zone. This combination is without a doubt powerful, very protective in a grounding, powerful way.

The second tiger eye combination is tiger eye and hematite. You can even see the red iron in this piece of hematite. Iron is grounding. Tiger eye already contains hematite, so if you really want to ground yourself, stabilize your energy, and fortify the strength, courage and confidence you are creating in your solar plexus, adding hematite makes it really grounded. These two can be combined especially when you want to ground your power, your courage, your sense of self-worth. Though I mentioned in another video, if you really want to lose weight, sometimes you have to let go of the hematite and ease off of it. But if you need it for power, confidence, strengthening and grounding, tiger eye and hematite is a good combination.

The third tiger eye combination I really like is tiger eye and any type of layered crystal. Any type of agate is a trusted combination for tiger eye. Tiger eye has layers, and the layers give the quality of separating the clear from the unclear. They help bring clarity by separating things. If you are noticing a lot of confusion in your life and things are not clear, working with tiger eye can help you separate the issues so you can resolve them piece by piece, layer by layer, without feeling overwhelmed by the magnitude of what you are facing. In the same way, any crystal that has layers, like agate, amplifies the effects of separating issues. Combining tiger eye and any layered stone is always a good option.

The fourth tiger eye combination is tiger eye and citrine. These are such solar plexus chakra colors, such an expansive, sunny, powerful energy. Citrine is a very active, powerful third chakra crystal: power, confidence, expansion, clearing, great for digestion. When combined, it is a very grounding, powerful, strengthening, expansive solar plexus happiness, self-esteem, confidence and courageous power combination.

The fifth tiger eye combination is tiger eye and ruby. Ruby is a very powerful crystal, great for the blood. You can tell a lot about where to apply a crystal just based on the colors. Red ruby nourishes the blood, and tiger eye has hematite, which is rich in iron, and iron is good for the blood. Ruby and tiger eye combined really nourish the blood, and the blood is life, our life force. This is a powerful combination to consider when you want to feel alive and filled with life force and vitality.

The sixth tiger eye combination, good in my books, is tiger eye and malachite. Malachite is one of my favorite crystals, a copper-based crystal that works on the emotions. It is really powerful, and not a lot of people can stand it because of the way it brings emotions to the forefront to be dealt with. Tiger eye has hematite with iron content, and iron grounds. When you are working with emotions that are all over the place, and you combine malachite for the emotions with tiger eye for grounding, tiger eye will help you ground those emotions so you can see clearly what is going on, and then you can process them easily. Combining these two to resolve emotional situations is a good strategy for inner work.

Now, what should you absolutely not combine with tiger eye, in my books? Tiger eye and calcite is not a good combination. Calcite is a soft crystal. Soft crystals like calcite are usually recommended when you need fast or quick results. But tiger eye has a lot of hematite, and hematite is heavy and dense. Tiger eye will slow down calcite, or any therapeutic process involving calcite. It is a no-no combination, unless you want things pulling in opposite directions, which I am sure you do not want.

Those are my favorite tiger eye combinations. What are yours?
