Hi! In this video, I'm going to be talking about hematite. Hematite is one of the stones that I never leave home without. I'm always either wearing hematite as a bracelet or I usually just wear it as a neck piece.

You'll always find hematite on me in some way, shape, or form.

So hematite truly, truly is a lifesaver. I'm so glad that it's available almost everywhere. And I trust that almost all of you have a piece of this beautiful, shiny, metallic, gunmetal, steel-looking, blackish stone that usually has reddish-brown color inside it.

So it's a very deceptive-looking stone because on the outside it appears to be black but on the inside there is the reddish thing going on.

And usually if it's scratched or rubbed on some porcelain surfaces, you'll see the reddish marks on it that's left by these beautiful pieces of hematite.

So before I begin to tell you how much I love hematite and why I love hematite, let me show you some beautiful pieces of hematite that I own. Oh, my gosh. Wait. Most people usually have these plain, shiny, metallic-looking ones.

And just think, last year when I went to a gem and mineral show, I found these beautiful pieces of hematite. They're polished ones but you can still see that they have the reddish band on them.

Like there's a reddish thing on it, color on it, which basically just shows what's on the inside.

And you can see this piece. I like it. It looks like some kind of eye, you know? It looks like an eye. And then it has this reddish energy, so the energy of the eye. That's how I think about it sometimes.

And then I have this one also. This, it has a triangular shape, and I love sacred geometry.

And I love this hematite piece especially because I can use it on my third eye in meditation, because triangles really is an expansion of energy from, I mean, sacred geometry-wise, triangles represent the expansion and increase of awareness and consciousness.

So I use sometimes, just place this piece of hematite on my forehead, on my third eye, and I just try to focus the energies of concentration on my third eye. Especially when I'm dealing with things to do with mental energy.

Hematite, one of the reasons I love this beauty here is because it is a very, very grounding stone. And I'm telling you, sometimes a lot of information is coming to me and I need to focus my mind.

But the mental information sometimes comes in a way that's almost overwhelming because there's so much to learn, so much to see, and there's so much new information coming in.

And I usually sort of have a problem of just getting concentrated enough and focused enough to be able to channel that information in a cohesive manner.

So hematite has proven to me, really, that it is my stone for grounding. Especially gathering all those mental energies that are all over the place and bringing them together in a way that it can be communicated in a cohesive and coherent manner.

So it is a very useful stone for mental focus and concentration.

And you know, hematite is made of 70% iron oxide, and it's just amazing. Iron oxide is what makes up hematite. Okay? That's what I meant to say. But the thing is you've heard about having an iron will. Iron oxide and iron will.

And the whole thing of having an iron will is about being determined enough to see through your purpose.

So hematite teaches me to have that iron will. So when I have a piece of hematite I feel like I'm so determined. I have an iron will. I have it on my arm, my wrist. I have it around my neck.

I have on maybe my third chakra when I use my hematite piece that's triangular. And I have the raw one in my hand which is this piece here. And it's very, very grounded. So it makes me feel that I can do anything.

I can focus myself. So it's very good to study, to use as a stone for study and focus and concentration.

If you need to complete projects, some people use this stone for mental anxiety. I mean emotional anxiety.

So for me it really is my stone for mental focus and concentration of those energies and to be able to complete projects and to be able to produce the result that I want. Especially in the mental field.

It just balances me and grounds me, and makes me remember, Caroline, you've got an iron will. You can do this, girl. You can do it. So I love hematite.

The other reason that I love hematite is because, oh, my gosh, hematite is a mirror. You see how shiny these pieces are? It just reminds me that it's not about what's going on the outside. It's about what's happening to me.

The mirror is reflecting.

So whatever it is that is happening in my life, when I have a piece of hematite around my wrist or around my neck or around my body or in my energetic space, when something is going on that I like and good things are happening to me, and I look at my hematite piece, I don't somebody else's face, I see my face.

It acts as a mirror. So it reflects back to me what's going on the outside.

So if something good is happening and I look at my hematite piece, I'm just happy that at least what's within is coming out without, and the mirror is reflecting that back to me.

When something bad is happening, when I'm wearing a piece of hematite and I look at it, it's not showing me that it's someone else that's causing the situation. The face that I see on this piece of hematite is me.

So that teaches me that I have to look at myself as the man in the mirror. So this is basically the mirror, mirror on the wall.

Hematite, especially the shiny, polished pieces, are really to reflect back at you, what you yourself are putting out. So if you don't like what you see in your outer, waking reality, look at yourself, work on yourself.

That's the reason why you have this shiny, reflective piece. Remember, we always have to know why the crystals are in our life, and they're just not there as fancy pieces. They're there to teach us. They're living consciousnesses.

So look at yourself. Work on yourself. And then reflect what you truly are to the outside, and the world will reflect back to you the truth. That's what the purpose of the mirror is. Me, me, me. Look at me, me, me. Mirror, mirror, mirror, mirror. You know?

Yeah. So hematite, number one, is grounding. I grounding, mentally, for me. Number two, it's a mirror, mirror on the wall. And number three, hematite, this is a real piece, hematite has taught me that we are all same inside.

So these hematite pieces, they basically look black on the outside, but if you scratch them on something porcelain, it will always leave an orangish, a reddish-brownish mark. So hema basically means blood.

And I understand, but don't quote me on this, I read it somewhere that hematite, like I said, hematite is 70% iron oxide and our red blood cells contain at least 70% of iron. And hema basically means blood. So there's a connection there.

Hema, blood.

So it doesn't matter how I look on the outside, how you look on the outside. When we are rubbed, when we are scratched, inside we are all red. We are all blood.

We all have that vitality inside, the red energy that makes us who we are, that makes us alive. That blood, we are all the same. So this has taught me that no matter what we see on the outside, we are all the same.

We cannot discriminate or judge anything by its cover because when this is cut, there is red. And that's such a beautiful, beautiful thing that hematite has taught me.

So also because hematite, or the word hema basically means blood, this stone can be used to work on blood-related issues, vitality issues, and stuff like that.

And also one thing that I forgot to mention, when you're looking at these shiny, polished pieces of hematite, although it's reflective, it's reflective of, it can reflect away things that you don't want to draw to yourself.

Because obviously the light goes out, you know? The most important thing is not to really focus on trying to keep things away from you but you should really at least look at yourself.

Once you yourself are okay, then the world around you becomes okay.

So it's so you're not really focusing on the things that you don't want to create. You're more or less focusing on things that you want to create.

Because at the end of the day, we surely have to be the beautiful beings that we truly, truly are.

And that involves working on ourselves and doing whatever we need to do to really get ourselves back to truth, and back to alignment, and back to life.

So hematite is my wonderful stone for mental grounding. It's my wonderful stone. My mirror, mirror on the wall.

It's my wonderful stone that has taught me that no matter who anyone is or no matter how anyone looks like, inside we are all red, just like this stone. Don't be deceived by the outer casing. The truth is we are all red, really.

We really are.

So do you have hematite? How do you use it? And if you don't have one, oh, my gosh. You better run and get one immediately. This is a beautiful stone. They are beautiful, beautiful pieces.

And they truly are here to help us heal and love ourselves. So let's stay grounded. Let's think about mirror, mirror, mirror. It's me, me, me. Not them, them, them. And remember, we are one. I love you guys and I'll see you next time.

Bye!
